	BAND UNIFORMS
	Band uniforms will be distributed at school.  Students are expected to keep them at home and care for them properly.   In caring for your band uniform, please never use an iron directly on the material.  Place a damp cloth over the material before you iron it.  If a student loses a part of his/her uniform, such as the bow tie, shirt, pants, etc., it will be replaced at the student’s expense. Each student is expected to become familiar with the proper and ONLY way to wear and care the required dress.  It should be considered the highest honor to wear the uniform of your organization.  When in uniform, you are no longer an individual; you are a representative of your school and community.  The complete uniform is to be worn at appearances unless specific instructions are made otherwise. Each band member will be issued the following uniform parts: SYMPHONIC BAND •    Blue uniform jacket (provided by MMS) •    Black dress pants (provided by student) •    White dress shirt (provided by student) •    Bow tie (provided MMS) •    Black socks (provided by student) •    Black dress shoes (provided by student) – NO GYM SHOES, BOOTS, SANDALS, HEELS CONCERT BAND •    Black dress pants (provided by student) •    White dress shirt (provided by student) •    Black socks (provided by student) •    Black dress shoes (provided by student) – NO GYM SHOES, BOOTS, SANDALS, HEELS JAZZ BAND •    Black dress pants (provided by student) •    White dress shirt (provided by student) •    Black socks (provided by student) •    Black dress shoes (provided by student) – NO GYM SHOES, BOOTS, SANDALS, HEELS Replacement cost for lost MMS uniform parts:
