	LEYDEN BAND NIGHT
	On FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21nd, all 7th / 8th grade band students at Mannheim Middle School will be playing at the West Leyden High School football game.  This is a fun event with band members from other local schools joining the Leyden Marching Band for the halftime show.  It is a great opportunity to see what it is like to be in the high school marching band. WE ARE IN NEED OF PARENT CHAPERONES!!  If you would like help chaperone the event, supervise the students, and troubleshoot any problems, please let Mr. Paluch know immediately via telephone or email.  You will receive free admission to the game. Pizza & pop dinner will be served for all students before the game - cost per student is $4.  Please turn is your pizza money right away so that it can be given to Mr. Miller at West Leyden.
	SCHEDULE 3:45 pm – Load buses/van with instruments & uniforms, depart MMS 3:55 pm – Arrive WLHS, unload instruments & uniforms in fieldhouse 4:00 pm – Rehearsal with all bands 5:30 pm – Pizza dinner in fieldhouse 6:15 pm – Change into uniforms 6:30 pm – Students meeting in auditorium 7:00 pm – March out from fieldhouse 7:25 pm – Pre-game show (WLHS band only; MMS band in stands) 8:30 pm – Halftime performance (on football field) 8:45 pm – Exit football field to fieldhouse; parents pick-up
